The Tourism products of Ajara are presented at the large Tourism trade fair. The Dubai International Tourism Trade Fair is an important exhibition of the business tourism in the world. Every year, it hosts more than 28 000 representatives of the tourism industry, international media and government from 153 countries. The Ajara Tourism Department representatives hold meetings with tourist and advertising companies in the framework of the exhibition.

“The exhibition is very busy. The world’s all top-rated tourist companies and organizations take part in the event, that gives the best opportunities for making business relationships, contacts and a future partnership. Interest expressed by tourists towards our country is big. They are especially attracted by our national parks and mountain tourism products. We started positioning Ajara in the United Arab Emirates last year and this year we are going to bring journalists and tourist companies to the region, to get them acquainted with the sea and mountain tourism potential. This, naturally, will be followed by the articles, reports and TV programs in the media of the United Arab Emirates. There is a growing number of Arab tourists in our country consequently, the number of direct flights from Saudi Arabia and The United Arab Emirates is also increasing”, stated Mikheil Koplatadze, the head of  the International Tourism Promotion Office at the Ajara Tourism Department.

The Dubai International Tourism Trade Fair has been held since 1994. It started on the 22nd of April and will last till April 25. The Ajara Tourism Department participates in the exhibition together with the Georgian National Tourism Administration and tourist agencies.
