Adjara gained the visitors’ special attention at Vilnius International Tourism Exhibition. Together with Batumi, ecotourism routes and gastronomy of Adjara gained guests’ interest.

On the exhibition, visitors were able to receive a detailed information about travelling throughout Adjara and Georgia in general. They were also treated to Georgian wine, sweets and cheese. More than 295 000 visitors attended Vilnius International Tourism Exhibition this year. Levan Ghvachliani, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Lithuania visited the stand of Adjara.

The Department of Tourism of Adjara was represented at the International Tourism Exhibition in Lithuania together with independent tourism companies. At the same time, the region was popularized at an international tourism exhibition in Riga. 

In recent years, the Department of Tourism of Adjara, in addition to presenting the region's tourism opportunities at exhibitions, has been conducting active advertising campaigns in the Baltic countries.

The number of international travelers from these countries to the region is growing.
