In summer, two low-cost airlines from Ukraine and Azerbaijan start operating flights to Batumi. The Ukrainian “SkyUp Airlines” and “Buta Airways” – structural subdivision of “Azerbaijan Airlines” have already got permissions for Batumi flights from the Civil Aviation Agency of Georgia.

“SkyUp Airlines” is planning to launch Kiev-Batumi-Kiev flights from the 25th of May, at a frequency of 10 flights per week by Boeing 737-800. The airlines performed charter flights to Batumi in the same period of 2018.  As for “Buta Airways”, it will start Baku-Batumi flights on June 14, twice a week on Fridays and Sundays, by Embraer E190, Airbus A319 and A320.
