Georgia becomes the center of attention at Riga International Tourism Fair – “Balttour 2019”. The Adjara Tourism Department participated in one of the biggest tourism fairs of the Baltic countries together with Georgian National Tourism Administration and tourist agencies.

At the Adjara corner, visitors were able to get acquainted with the tourism products of our region. Most of them showed special interest in ecotourism, wine and gastronomic tourism. The Department representatives also held business meetings with the members of tourist and advertising companies in terms of advertising issues. Adjara Tourism Department has been carrying out popularization of the region in Latvia since 2017.

This year, “Balttour 2019” has been distinguished by the multiple number of guests. During three days, 28 050 visitors in total attended the event. Georgian stand at the exhibition was visited by the Ambassador of Georgia to Latvia and the embassy representatives.
