The International Birdwatching Festival will be held in Ajara from 24 to 30 September 2017. Foreign experts, volunteers and tourists from different countries will come to the region to watch the massive migration of raptors and other birds on the East Black Sea shore. Within the framework of the festival various excursions, thematic seminars and workshops on bird watching platforms are planned.

Participation in the festival is free of charge. Registration can be done at the Tourist Information Centers, by phone: +995 977 90 90 93 / +995 977 90 90 91 or by e-mail: agency@gobatumi.com. The excursions to places of bird watching for the participants will be conducted daily.
