Lithuanian journalists prepare blogs and reports about Adjara

The tourism potential of Adjara is being introduced to Lithuanian journalists. They are visiting the region at the invitation of the Adjara Tourism Department. The Journalists have already seen Batumi’s basic tourist attractions - Botanical Garden and Dolphinarium. Today they are heading for the mountainous Adjara, where in the local wine cellar, they will try various sorts of wine and local food, enjoy Georgian folklore and take part in cooking master classes. Their attention will, definitely, be captured by Keda’s main tourist attractions – Ethnographic Museum and Gonio-Apsaros Fortress-museum. The journalists will leave on the 24th of June. In Lithuania, they will share impressions about travel to Adjara with their viewers and readers.

“It is important that as many articles, reports and programs as possible be prepared by the most rated media platforms of our target countries. This time, we have selected top-rated Lithuanian TV companies, online publications and bloggers to highlight our tourism resources. We have a unique possibility to offer tourists both, the seaside leisure and different tourist routes of mountainous Adjara. According to our research, that is what makes Adjara especially attractive for the tourists. Lithuania, alongside with other European countries, is an important target market, where, apart from the press tours, we have outdoor and online advertising. All this, as a result, will contribute to the growth of Lithuanian visitors”, stated the first chief deputy of the Adjara Tourism Department, Tamar Kaikatsishvili.
